How do I register for the conference?

What participation options are available?
Participants may join in person or virtually. In person participation offers full access to the conference environment, including sessions, informal dialogue, and the broader experience of being on site. Virtual participation provides access to selected sessions and content, allowing individuals to engage remotely.
Is the Gala included in my registration?
The Gala may be included depending on the pass selected. Some registration options include the Gala as part of the experience, while others offer it as an additional component. Participants are encouraged to review their selected pass carefully to confirm what is included.
Can I attend only the Gala?
Yes. A Gala only option is available for those who wish to participate in the evening of recognition and connection without attending the full conference. This option is intended for individuals and guests who are specifically interested in the awards and evening experience.
Can I register as part of a group or team?
Yes. Group participation is welcomed and encouraged, particularly for organizations looking to align learning and practice across teams. If you are planning to attend with colleagues, please contact us to discuss options that support your group’s participation.
What is your cancellation and refund approach?
We understand that plans can change. Refund requests are reviewed on a case by case basis, with consideration given to timing, circumstances, and event commitments. Participants are encouraged to reach out as early as possible so that requests can be reviewed thoughtfully.
Where is the conference being held?
The 2026 IAP2 Canada Conference and Gala will take place at the
Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Vancouver, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

How do I apply for the Core Values Awards?

Who can apply?
The Core Values Awards are open to organizations, practitioners, and researchers across sectors throughout Canada. IAP2 Canada membership is not required to apply.
What is the submission deadline?
The submission deadline for the 2026 awards is June 15, 2026.
Can I participate as a judge?
Yes. The awards process includes opportunities for experienced practitioners to contribute as judges, supporting a thoughtful and consistent evaluation of submissions across the field.
